Why We Built This

Setting up Frigate can be challenging, especially for newcomers. The configuration process often involves diving deep into documentation, understanding YAML syntax, and making sense of numerous options. We've been there, and we thought there must be a better way.

What Frigate Configurator Does

Frigate Configurator is a user-friendly tool that simplifies the process of creating a Frigate configuration file. Instead of manually writing YAML, you'll be able to:

• Configure your cameras through an intuitive interface
• Choose from pre-configured templates for popular camera models
• Validate your settings in real-time
• Export a production-ready configuration file
• Save and manage multiple configurations

Launch Timeline

We're currently in the final stages of development and testing. Our goal is to launch a beta version in late Q2 2025. Here's what you can expect:

• Beta Launch (Late Q2 2025):
  Core configuration features, camera templates, and basic validation
• Full Release (TDB):
  Advanced features, more templates, and configuration sharing
